Emotional and full of gratitude, 50-year-old cancer patient Aling Bernadette expressed her thanks to the Pineda family for the financial assistance she received amid her fight against breast cancer. Diagnosed in June, Bernadette has relied solely on support from her siblings for her treatment until now.
Led by Pampanga Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and former Board Member Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab, the Pineda family extended P15,000 in financial aid to Bernadette and over 50 other cancer patients in San Fernando City.
In addition to financial assistance, the Pampanga provincial government is actively supporting cancer patients through the issuance of guarantee letters, helping ease the cost of chemotherapy treatments.
