STA. ANA, Pampanga — A two-month feeding program for 1,633 undernourished learners from 12 elementary schools in Sta. Ana is underway, organizers said, as part of continuing nutrition support efforts in the municipality.
The initiative, dubbed the “Tatay Bong Pineda Feeding Program,” provides meals to identified students from Cluster A and Cluster B schools. Beneficiaries receive food on a structured schedule, with some schools participating every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and others every Tuesday and Thursday.
Coordinated by Christopher “Pey” Pelayo, the program aims to help address malnutrition among young learners and improve their health and school performance.
Organizers said the sustained effort reflects a continuing commitment to support children’s welfare and basic education in Sta. Ana.
