BALANGA CITY – As part of its intensified preparations for the 2025 National and Local Elections, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO 3) has officially activated its Media Action Center to help ensure a peaceful, orderly, and transparent election in Central Luzon.
Police Regional Director Brigadier General Jean Fajardo led the opening of the center in support of the Commission on Elections’ goal to strengthen the democratic process and maintain peace and order across the region.
“The opening of the PRO 3 Media Action Center is a clear testament to our unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and order while ensuring transparency and open communication between the police and the public, especially during election season,” Fajardo said.
The action center will serve as a central information hub for media members and the public who wish to obtain official information, ask questions, or report election-related incidents. Its goal is to expedite the flow of accurate, timely, and reliable information from the police.
In addition to the regional headquarters, all provincial and city police offices under PRO 3 have also established their own Media Action Centers.
Designated personnel will man these centers 24/7 to accommodate questions, concerns, and reports from both the public and the media.
Regional Public Information Office Chief Police Major Aileen Rose Stanger urged voters to remain orderly and avoid actions that could disrupt the electoral process.
She emphasized the need to line up properly outside polling precincts and refrain from bringing firearms or any deadly weapons on election day.
“We also ask everyone, especially on election day, to remain vigilant. If anything unusual happens, please approach our public assistance desk, where our police officers are also deployed at polling places,” she added.
PRO 3 also encourages the public to report any concerns, particularly incidents of intimidation, vote-buying, vote-selling, and other election-related offenses, through its regional hotlines at 0917-556-2597 and 0917-623-5700 or via its official Facebook page. (CLJD/RPQ, PIA Region 3-Bataan)
