The Pampanga Police Provincial Office and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Thursday, October 31, to provide free skills training and certification for PNP-Pampanga personnel.
The agreement, signed by Pampanga PPO Provincial Director Police Colonel Jay C. Dimaandal and TESDA Pampanga Provincial Director Atty. Eric O. Ueda, aims to bolster the capabilities of local police by offering specialized training programs. The ceremony took place at the Pampanga Police Headquarters, with representatives from both agencies in attendance.
TESDA will provide assessments, certifications, and scholarship-based training for eligible officers, aligning with modernization goals and competency-building efforts. “TESDA is privileged to support PNP in enhancing the skills of our police officers,” Atty. Ueda said.
PCOL Dimaandal thanked TESDA, noting that the program would help officers expand their skills and better serve Pampanga communities. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to professional growth within the police force.
