CAMP OLIVAS — PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon has ordered the Nueva Ecija police to conduct a probe into death of two police officers on Friday evening.
The victims were identified as PSSg Allan Capinpin, 43, of Antorium Street, Bgy. Magsaysay Norte, Cabanatuan City; and PSSg Aries Dichoso, 39, of Bgy. Bantug Norte, Cabanatuan City, both assigned to the anti-drug agents of thr Cabanatuan City police.
An unidentified armed suspect onboard a motorcycle reportedly arrived at the house of Capinpin and repratedly shot the victims.
It was revealed the two victims had arrested three notorious drug peddlers last September 9 and police are now investigating if there is a connection in the cops, slaying.
“We will exert all our efforts and look into the bottom of this, we continue to solicit the support of the general public in order to maintain peace and order, safety and security of our communities,” De Leon said.
PNP chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar ordered the immediate activation of a special task force to fast track the investigation of the case.
