Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Handang-handa na ang kapulisan mula sa Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) para sa isang maayos at ligtas na pagpapatupad ng nalalapit na Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election sa darating na Oktubre 30, 2023.
Ang pagtatalaga ng mahigit 10,000 Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel sa buong Central Luzon ay para matiyak ang epektibo at mahusay na pagpapatupad ng security coverage.
Nitong Lunes ay isinagawa ang send-off ceremony kasabay ng handover ng mga nakuhang puwersa na ginanap sa PRO3 Parade Ground na dinaluhan ng mga miyembro ng PNP, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) at mga dedicated force multipliers.
Parte ng aktibidad ay ang pagbabasbas sa Troops and resources na pinamunuan ni Rev Fr PLtCol Jonathan Sy, Regional Pastoral Officer at ang pagbasa sa Statement of Commitment ng mga concerned agencies kasunod ng mensahe mula kay Atty Temie P Lambino, Regional Election Director, COMELEC 3.
“To optimize deployment and bolster the security presence at polling precincts with just a week left until the much-anticipated electoral event on October 30, police personnel typically assigned to desk duties and educational pursuits have been reassigned to polling stations.
This strategic move will significantly increase the number of individuals responsible for safeguarding the integrity and safety of the Election Day proceedings,” said PBGen Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., the Director of PRO3.
