Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) confiscated over PHP 74 million worth of illegal drugs in Central Luzon from October 1 to November 25, 2024, as part of its intensified anti-drug campaign.
During the period, PRO3 conducted 910 operations, resulting in the arrest of 1,365 individuals. Authorities seized 4,964 grams of shabu, 10,889 grams of marijuana, and 26,000 grams of kush, with a combined street value of PHP 74,064,534.78. Additionally, 89 firearms were recovered, underscoring the office’s efforts to combat both illegal drugs and unlicensed weapons.
“This success is a testament to the dedication of our police force in maintaining peace and order in the region,” said PRO3 Regional Director PBGen Redrico A. Maranan. “We are intensifying our campaign against illegal drugs in line with the directive of Chief PNP PGen Rommel Francisco D. Marbil, ensuring all operations are lawful and uphold human rights.”
PBGen Maranan also called on the public to support the PNP’s anti-drug initiatives by reporting drug-related activities. “Together, we can fight this menace and create safer communities,” he added.
