The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has deployed 62 personnel trained in search, rescue, and retrieval operations to the Bicol region following the devastation caused by Typhoon Kristine.
The team mobilized from Camp Olivas, Pampanga, on Saturday night, October 26, joining ongoing relief efforts to assist severely impacted communities. Along with manpower, PRO3 has sent essential supplies as part of its commitment to disaster response.
PRO3 Director PBGEN Redrico A. Maranan emphasized the importance of timely support in crisis situations. “In times like these, extending help to the hardest-hit communities is vital. This mission is made possible with the strong support of the Office of Civil Defense (OCD), whose resources have been instrumental in enabling our response,” Maranan said.
PRO3 continues to work closely with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) to ensure effective relief and support for the affected areas.
