The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has successfully accounted for 260 short firearms from January 10 to February 15, 2025, through its intensified revitalized ‘Katok’ campaign, reinforcing the election gun ban.
Under the leadership of PBGEN Jean S. Fajardo, PRO3 personnel urged firearms owners to surrender loose and unrenewed firearms to prevent election-related violence. Fajardo emphasized the importance of responsible gun ownership, calling on those with expired licenses to deposit their firearms at police stations.
With the elections approaching, PRO3 remains committed to maintaining peace and order, ensuring that all surrendered firearms are properly documented and secured.
