PTT’s ‘Mission of Hope’ donates masks, alcohol to gov’t hospitals

PTT Philippines Foundation Inc.’s ‘Mission of Hope’ on Wednesday, donated 70% isopropyl alcohol and surgical masks to the frontliners of various government hospitals and facilities.

A total of 5,000 surgical masks and 30 gallons of alcohol were given to Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital in Pampanga, Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center in Bataan, Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) in Muntinlupa City and James Gordon Memorial Hospital in Olongapo City.

Other beneficiaries include all PTT employees in various offices like Makati, Subic, Clark, Batangas and Cebu.

The project was spearheaded by PTT top management officials namely: PTT Philippines Corporation President & CEO Thitiroj Rergsumran; PTT Philippines Trading Corporation President & CEO Danilo Alabado; and PTT Philippines Foundation Inc. President Paul Patricio Senador.

“To ensure and sustain protection, safety and well-being of all PTT employees as well as to help and support frontliners like health and medical staff as well for PTT to do its share and responsibility at this challenging time, PTT Management has decided to purchase and donate 5,000pcs. of Surgical Mask and 30gallons of 70% isopropyl Alcohol,” Paul Senador said in an interview.

As the Philippines and more than 200 countries and territories all over the world are battling a health crisis of pandemic proportion, PTT continues its operations despite a rapid drop in fuel prices and consumption.
