CITY of SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga- The Pampanga Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PPENRO) has noted a continued increase in its quarry operations revenues for 2017.
According to PPENRO head Art Punzalan, his office has recorded 375,040,000 collection of fees in the province’s quarry operations in 2017. In 2016, the province has earned P370, 800,000 from quarrying.
This also brings the revenues total toP2, 354, 345,000 since Governor Lilia Pineda took her office as Pampanga”s chief executive in July, 2010.
Punzalan said this is because of our continued collection efforts to increase our funds in giving services to our province,
Meanwhile, Pineda said the earnings from the quarrying operations goes back to the people in term of services like in health and medical needs and education.
The provincial would often donate dump trucks for waste disposal or patrol vehicles for police in fighting crimes in the province, Pineda added.
Records show that in 2010 has only collected P119,385,000 since its already July. But in whole 2011 rebounded with P238,380,000; for 2012 with P292,017,500; 2013- P283; 2014- P343,160,000; 2015- P331,660,000; 2016- P370,800,000 and 2017- P375,040,000. –Froilan Magtoto
