OLONGAPO CITY – Members of the Olongapo City police on Thursday arrested an alleged rapist in Barangay Old Cabalan, Olongapo City.
Olongapo City Police Director Col. Charlie Umayaw said three victims personally went to the Police Station 4 to report the rape committed against them by the suspect.
Immediately, Umayaw deployed cops led by Cpt. Allan delos Reyes to conduct a follow-up operation which resulted in the arrest of the suspect identified only as “Taytay.”
The suspect is now detained at the Police Station 4 while a theft case is also being prepared against him before the Olongapo City Prosecutor’s Office.
