The Lazatin team sent a strong and united message on the first day of the filing of Certificates of Candidacy (COC) for the 2025 midterm polls. Clad in their signature red shirts, their presence at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) satellite office at Clark City Front Mall , Angeles City was a spectacle of unity, determination, and optimism.

At the helm is the congressman-turned-mayoral candidate, Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, who is gunning for the city’s top post filed at 10:35AM before Comelec city director Atty. Charmaine Fhaye Casquejo. His decision to run for mayor comes at the culmination of his final term as the representative of the 1st District of Pampanga, where his leadership and projects left a lasting impact. While mayor-turned congressman Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. filed at Comelec provincial office in the Pampanga capitol compound at 12:15 noon.
