Subic Bay Freeport – Zambales First District Representative Jay Khonghun celebrates his birthday to a heartwarming Thanksgiving celebration with children with cerebral palsy yesterday at Shakeys Moon Bay Marina, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
The celebration was attended by Quezon City Councilor and actress Aiko Melendez, her daughter Martina Jickain, and Olongapo City Councilor Jamiel Khonghun Escalona.
The parents of children with cerebral palsy, who belong to the Olongapo Cerebral Palsy Society and Special Kids Therapy Group, are very grateful to Khonghun for his continued support for their children, including regular check-ups, therapy, medication, and financial assistance.
“I would like to thank our parents who sacrifice themselves to take care of their children, that is a blessing from God, and don’t worry because I am here for your children who are willing to give our help. I also want to thank Aiko for voluntarily coming to this occasion to make you even happier,” said Khonghun.
The event served not only as a birthday celebration, but also as a reminder of the importance of inclusive care and the continuous efforts to uplift the lives of children with disabilities and their families.
