Rescue team fielded in SF rising floodwater

The Pampanga Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) had deployed military trucks, rubber boats, 15 PNP personnel and nine rescue personnel at St. Jude Village and Villa del Sol in the City of San Fernando to transport stranded residents to safety.

Meanwhile, the PDRRMO reported that the check gate of Pandan Creek at Barangay Bagang adjacent to Barangay Sagrada in Masantol town was damaged due to heavy rains, causing flooding in the said villages.

Barangay San Jose in the City of San Fernando (Garbes Dizon portion) had been reported impassable to light vehicles, while the Baliuag-Candaba road was not passable to all types of vehicles as of 1 p.m. today.

Barangays San Pablo Propio (portion of Nayong Tsinoy) and San Isidro (portion of barangay road) in San Simon town are currently submerged in 1-ft floodwater, while barangays Poblacion and San Matias (provincial road going to Minalin) in Sto. Tomas town are currently submerged in 2-ft floodwater. As of 1:00 p.m,, barangays Sta. Maria and San Nicolas in Minalin town are currently submerged in 1-ft floodwater, and Lagundi village in Mexico town is currently submerged in 1-2 ft floodwater.

In a statement, SM City Pampanga said it is offering free overnight car parking for those affected by flood.
