Reynan Calo, an independent candidate for mayor of Sta. Rita, Pampanga, officially filed his certificate of candidacy today, October 7. He was accompanied by a dedicated team of local leaders, including councilors Kim Cosme, Rico Sta. Cruz, Alex Cruz, Roy Galang, Nat Gopez, Jhay R. Arceo, and Jessie Pineda.
Sta. Rita is comprised of ten barangays and has a total of 29,738 registered voters. Calo, a resident of Barangay San Agustin, aims to address the pressing needs of the community with a governance platform focused on health and education.
Calo’s candidacy comes at a time when local residents are increasingly concerned about access to quality healthcare and educational opportunities. He believes that by prioritizing these areas, he can significantly improve the quality of life for Sta. Rita’s citizens. As he embarks on this campaign, Calo emphasizes the importance of community involvement and hopes to foster a collaborative approach to governance that includes the voices of all residents.
