Rising Tigers honors Devanadera at ‘Captains of Industries’ event

MAKATI CITY – A top business and lifestyle magazine honored Clark Development Corporation (CDC) President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera, for her leadership in driving positive change and growth in different industries and communities.

Atty. Devanadera was honored at the Captains of Industries event on December 19, hosted at the Malaysian Ambassador’s residence here, where she received recognition from Rising Tigers Magazine.

In her acceptance speech, Atty. Devanadera underscored the need for leaders to adapt and evolve in today’s world. “Over my years in politics and public view, I’ve observed a key to thriving and leading: the ability to reinvent oneself as circumstances evolve,” said Atty. Devanadera.

“The pandemic reshaped not just politics or the economy but even interpersonal relationships. To make a difference and move forward, reinvention is key,” she added.

Atty. Devanadera’s recognition as a leader navigating transformation highlights her visionary approach and commitment to guiding CDC through ever-changing environments.

The leaders recognized as Captains of Industries alongside Atty. Devanadera included industry trailblazers, diplomats, and business visionaries. Among them were Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman George Erwin Garcia, Angkas Founder George Royeca, Brilliant Skin CEO Glenda Dela Cruz Victorio, Journalist and TV Personality Korina Sanchez-Roxas, Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary Francis Tiu Laurel, and Shawarma Shack President Walther Buenavista.

Other awardees were The Manila Times President Dante “Klink” Ang II, JC Worldwide founders Jonathan So and Carlito Macadangdang, President of Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) Eunina Mangio, Sta. Elena Construction and Development President Alice Eduardo, Malaysian Ambassador H.E. Dato Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino bin Anthony, House of Laurel Founder Rajo Laurel, and Chief Marketing of Ever Bilena Denice Sy Munez.

Members of the diplomatic community, including Ambassador of Belgium H.E. Michel Parys, Ambassador of Thailand H.E. Tull Traisorat, and Ambassador of Nigeria H.E. Folakemi Akinleye, were also present during the event. It can be recalled that Atty. Devanadera received the prestigious Woman of the Year Award hosted by the Asian Leaders Award on November 20, in recognition of her achievements as a public servant, earning her the title “Woman of Many Firsts.”
