The group leader and four members of Rizal Drug Group were arrested during the implementation of search warrant in Bataan on May 30, 2018 that also resulted in the dismantling of a drug den and seizure of P800,000 worth of shabu and marijuana.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Aaron A. Aquino identified the suspects as Ferdinand G. Mallari, 50 years old, drug group leader; and members Audie-Mar B. Simsuangco, 51; Eduardo D. Pecson, 55; Elmer S. Angeles, 50; and Kristine G. Mallari, 20, who were arrested by operatives of PDEA Regional Office III (PDEA RO III) under the supervision of Director Gil T. Pabilona and Bataan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) in No. 17, Rizal St., Barangay Rizal, Dinalupihan, Bataan on May 30, 2018.
Confiscated during the operation were 28 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu, with an estimated value of Php800,000.00, one match-like sized dried marijuana leaves, weighing more or less 15 grams, with an estimated value of Php1,800.00, and several drug paraphernalia.
The suspects will be charged for violation of Section 6 (Maintenance of a Drug Den), Section 7 (Visitor, Employee of a Drug Den), and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of the Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
