BALANGA CITY – Bataan Representatives, Congresswoman Geraldine B. Roman and Congressman Jose Enrique Garcia III, took part in a recent four-day Kabuhayan 2018 National Livelihood Trade Fair held from November 8 to 11, 2018 at the Megatrade Hall 1, 5th level, SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
The said event is the Congressional Spouses Foundation’s biggest fundraising event this year with nearly 100 booths from various provinces showcased the best Philippine products, including modern Filipiniana fashion, fabrics and accessories, bags, traditional handicrafts, beautiful artworks, and food products.
The event aims to give small and medium Filipino entrepreneurs the opportunity to show off their creativity and widen their market.
In a published article from the House of Representatives Website, Former President and now House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo commended the officers and members of the Congressional Spouses Foundation Inc. (CSFI) for their hard work in bringing to reality the Kabuhayan 2018 National Livelihood Trade Fair which showcases the best products from around the country in support of the small, micro and medium entrepreneurs (MSMEs) in the different congressional districts.
Former Bataan 1st District Rep. Herminia B. Roman was also there at the booth of Bataan First District and Isabel Garcia for the Behold Bataan, the booth of the Second District of Bataan. Both booths showcased the delicacies and products from 11 towns and one component city of the Province of Bataan.
