
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Local candidates here pledged their commitment to clean and peaceful elections during the Unity Walk, Interfaith Rally, and Peace Covenant Signing on March 8 at Heroes Hall.

The event, led by the Commission on Elections (Comelec), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Pampanga Police Provincial Office, and other stakeholders, aimed to promote Safe, Accurate, Free, and Fair Elections (SAFE) 2025.
Rival mayoral candidates re-electionist Vilma Balle-Caluag and former board member Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab led their respective teams in reciting the pledge of electoral integrity and signing the covenant in a show of sportsmanship.

Vice mayoral candidates re-electionist Benedict Jasper “BJ” Lagman and Councilor Brenz Gonzales also joined the event, reinforcing the call for a fair and peaceful campaign.
