SANTA RITA, Pampanga – The Municipal Government of Santa Rita kicked off August with optimism and unity during its first Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at the Plaza Covered Court, featuring an upgraded sound system and full force participation from local government employees.
Mayor Reynan S. Calo shared key milestones in his message, including a nearly 50% rise in blood donors (76 this year from 51 last year), Santa Rita’s role in hosting the ₱20 per kilo KADIWA rice program, and recognition of the Municipal Civil Registry Office at a national convention.
He also noted that 90% of LGU staff have enrolled in the new biometric system, and praised MRF workers for maintaining clean operations. Relief efforts have reached 9,400 households so far.
Mayor Calo emphasized transparency, assuring that every peso is spent for the people’s benefit: “Ing pondu ning Balen siguru tamung para ya kareng Memalen.”
