Mayor Edwin “EdSa” Santiago graced the ceremonial Christmas tree lighting of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 3 in Camp Olivas, San Nicolas, City of San Fernando on December 7, 2020.
Santiago served as the event’s guest of honor where he led the lighting ceremony, alongside Police Brigadier General Valeriano de Leon, PRO-3 Director, and other top police officials.
De Leon said the aim behind the Christmas tree lighting is to give hope and inspiration, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, to the members of the police force and other peace and order front line personnel who continuously serve the nation thru the region’s pandemic response.
The City Mayor meanwhile extended his gratitude to the agency for helping the city promote its local lantern products, especially this holiday season.
Santiago also received several tokens from the agency, including a Certificate of Appreciation, Memento plaque, and a photo souvenir.
