A Thai restaurant featuring authentic, home-style Thai cooking is set to open in this Freeport.
Clark Development Corporation (CDC), led by President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera, signed a lease agreement for the development of the Sayam House on November 12.
In her message, Atty. Devanadera emphasized the importance of offering diverse culinary and lifestyle options within the Freeport.
“You know, the reason why we have different menus and different natures of restaurants along the barn houses? Because they provide the best reasons for people to always come back,” she said.
“That’s the kind of symbiotic relationship that we have in Clark,” she added, assuring the existing companies of their inclusion in upcoming CDC roadshows.
Sayam House will occupy a 1,653-square-meter space in Barn House 2089 located along Cardinal Santos St., adding authentic Thai flavors to Clark’s thriving culinary scene. The restaurant promises a unique Thai home-cooking experience, sourcing key ingredients directly from Thailand and staying true to traditional recipes.
In addition to the signing, CDC awarded Authorities to Operate (ATO) to five companies within Clark: Otonari Food OPC, Bistronomia Corp., D Barn Food House Inc., DS BROS. F&B CORP., and TDBT Restaurant, further enhancing Clark’s reputation as a vibrant business and leisure destination.
“We have a lot of events—not because they pay us well for the facilities in Clark, but because we want to populate Clark with all these events,” the CDC chief said.
Key CDC officials who were present at the signing ceremony include Director Helen Nicolette Henson, Vice President for Administration and Finance Jose Miguel de la Rosa; Vice President for Engineering Services Engr. Teresito Tiotuyco; Vice President for Legal Affairs Atty. Gloria Victoria Taruc, and Vice President for Business Development and Business Enhancement Atty. Noelle Mina Meneses.
Also in attendance were Special Assistant to the President and CEO Ma. Zoraida Camello; Vice President for Security Services PMGen. Lina Sarmiento (Ret.); Assistant Vice President for the Business Development Department Thelma Ocampo; and Assistant Vice President for Business Enhancement Department Rodem Perez.
