LUBAO, Pampanga – Senatorial candidate Francis Tolentino on Friday said he wants to ensure the supply of water as a water crisis looms in
the entire country.
Tolentino disclosed that the water problem will be experienced by 2025 based on the study of the World Bank.
Tolentino, one of the candidates of the Hugpong Ng Pagbabago, said he will work for the creation of a government agency or Department that will ensure the steady of supply water even after seven years.
“This is my advocacy that’s why I am running for senator. We must make sure there will be enough water for all Filipinos,” said Tolentino in an interview at the residence of House of Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo here.
Tolentino said one of the hardest to be hit by the water crisis is the highly-populated National Capital Region (NCR).
In Pampanga, there is lack of water experienced in Angeles City this early.
