The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that Severe Tropical Storm Podul entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility at 11:20 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2025. Once inside PAR, the system was given the local name “Gorio” as it moves closer to the country.
