SANTA RITA, Pampanga – Local authorities launched emergency mitigation efforts on a damaged creek slope in Barangay San Isidro, following erosion concerns at the Gasak section of the area.
Sandbagging operations were immediately carried out to reinforce the weakened portion of the slope. Mayor Reynan Calo, along with the Mayor’s Office Support Group (MOSG), led the on-site response to prevent further erosion.
Councilors Jessie Pineda and Nat Gopez joined the team to support ongoing efforts.
The local government unit is now working with the Municipal Engineering Office and plans to elevate the issue to higher authorities for further assessment and technical support.
