Following the appalling experience of the incessant jolting in Mindanao and now South Luzon, SM City Clark had responded to the call for the Citywide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill last November 7, 2019.
The Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (ACDRRMO) stood witness to the said activity. A total of 591 participants, including 250 customers, 216 tenants, affiliates, 55 BPO and Admin employees, agency personnel participated in the said drill. The Crisis Management team assisted in executing all the safety measures including rescue operations that could help increase better recovery in the event of catastrophes.
The SM Supermalls has always been a strong adherent to the government’s aim to amplify the preparation for disasters like earthquakes and other calamities, which may strike without warning.
