Fireworks exhibitions from Korea, Japan and the Philippines dubbed Asia’s Pop Treasures make up the first day of Pyrofest 6: Unravel the World’s Wonders on November 17. The annual event is part of the Brightest Christmas Celebration of SM City Clark and SM City Pampanga. SM Assistant Vice-President for Operations-North Luzon Engr. The Pyro Fest will feature fireworks exhibitions from various parts of the world. The first was Asia’s Pop Treasures on November 17; November 18 featured Europe’s West End Secrets; November 24 will exhibit America’s Hollywood Tales; and, November 25, Latin American Nights. SM Pampanga officials also announced the launching on December 1 of the Biggest Lantern of Hope, transforming the 213-foot Sky Ranch ferris wheel into a giant lantern inspired by the Star of Bethlehem and the Christmas lanterns of Pampanga.
At SM City Pampanga, the Biggest Lantern of Hope will be launched on December 1 at the Amphitheatre. The giant Ferris wheel at SM City Pampanga will be fitted with LED lights and transform it into a Lantern of Hope, inspired by the giant parols (Christmas lanterns) of Pampanga which symbolize the Star of Bethlehem, especially during this season of love and sharing. –Photos by Jojo Due
