SAN JOSE DEL MONTE– SM City San Jose del Monte reduced three portions of its sidewalk to help lessen the traffic congestion along Quirino Highway.
Heavy traffic is the unending issue of the commuters and it was recognized by the mall management as it affects customers and residents of San Jose del Monte City.
In a continuous effort to be of service to the community, SM City San Jose del Monte took the initiative to help in the issue. The three curved portions in front of the mall perimeter, originally designed and served as an unloading area, were now reduced in vision to have a smoother and continuous flow of traffic.
The now ‘third lane’ in Quirino Highway in front of the mall is opened. The result of the initiative is still under observation and the management is hoping to have a positive outcome.
