SM Foundation Inc. donates school building for Balanga City school

BALANGA CITY – The City Government of Balanga led by Mayor Francis Anthony S. Garcia recently held the groundbreaking ceremony of a two-storey, four-classroom school building donated by the SM Foundation Inc. to Balanga Elementary School (BES).

Juris U. Soliman, head of School Building Program of SM Foundation, spoke during the thanksgiving program. Balanga City officially became its 100th recipient of school classrooms all over the Philippines.

Present in the ceremony were representatives from the Department of Education, BES officials, City Administration Office led by Rudy De Mesa, City Education and Excellence Development Office and General Parent-Teacher Association.

The classroom is expected to be ready for use on June 12, 2019.
