Extending a helping hand, SM Foundation Inc. served as one of the responders to earthquake-stricken families in Porac by giving immediate assistance to communities in the form of X-ray services and relief goods.
With the magnitude 6.1 earthquake that jolted Pampanga on Monday caused damages in several roads and other infrastructures in the area. As one of the first responders during calamities by giving immediate assistance, SM Foundation Inc through the Operation Tulong Express headed by Vice President Cristie Angeles provided Kalinga Packs which consists of bottled mineral water, rice, ready-to-eat meals and instant noodles to 500 affected families at Brgy Pio and Barangay Planas in Porac, Pampanga.
With SM Foundation Inc. through the Health and Medical team headed by Dra Bles Bertos and Dalfhen Samson, provided medical care of X-ray services and first aid treatments at Jose S. Lapid District Hospital.
