In support of the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela, employees of SM City Olongapo Central and SM City Olongapo Downtown demonstrated the spirit of volunteerism by cleaning and repainting classrooms at their chosen beneficiary school- Mabayuan Elementary School and Tabacuhan Elementary School.
Brigada Eskwela is a key volunteer program of SM, supported by SM Security personnel, partner agencies, and administrative employees. The annual program of SM partnered with DepEd has been the traditional activity where SM employees devote their time to help clean, repaint and repair classrooms for the improvement of school facilities.
This year’s Brigada Eskwela underscores the importance of collaboration in promoting school readiness and strengthening the culture of reading among learners.
