ANGELES CITY — THE P360 million Angeles City Sports Complex will attract more tourists, create new jobs and economic opportunities, according to a councilor here.
Councilor Edgardo “Edu” Pamintuan, Jr. said: “We are hoping for a vibrant tourism and livelihood opportunities for Angelenos.”
“Paano po tayo magkakaroon ng masiglang turismo kung hindi natin popondohan ang pagtatayo ng mga makabagong pasilidad na ating maipagmamalaki kagaya ng isang modernong sports complex at bagong city hall?” Pamintuan said.
Pamintuan earlier attended the groundbreaking ceremonies for the planned sports complex in Barangay Pampang.
The Sports Complex is located in a 3.7-hectare property and will have a convention center with a total floor area of 6,965 square meters and a sitting capacity for 2,500 people.
