The Social Security System (SSS) formally inaugurated on Friday the newly-renovated SSS Pasay-Taft Branch, which now operates its own tellering facility.
SSS members can now pay their contributions and loan amortizations directly in the said branch. The branch is located at 2532 ERL Building, Taft Avenue, Pasay City.
The opening of the tellering facility will increase the monthly collection of SSS Pasay-Taft Branch, which covers 151 barangays, including Malibay, Sta. Clara, San Isidro, San Roque, Villamor and part of San Rafael.
“From its monthly collection of P48 million, the Pasay-Taft Branch expects to collect an additional P18.48 million or a total of P66.48 million per month upon the operation of its tellering facility on February 15. We never stop in improving our facilities and services so that we can better serve our members with easier and more convenient transactions,” SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Emmanuel F. Dooc said.
Located in a highly urbanized city, SSS Pasay-Taft Branch covers an estimate of 4,300 employers, 41,000 employees, and 8,369 self-employed and voluntary members. The branch was categorized as medium branch in 2017.
“The Pasay-Taft Branch can now accommodate more members as the office space expanded from 257 square meters to 445.66 square meters. Their average daily transaction upon renovation now estimates to 6,700 from 5,000,” he added.
Other services offered by the branch are processing of Unified Multi-Purpose ID card, corporate lane transactions, processing of USB for contributions and loan repayments, general information/issuance of forms and public assistance complaints desk, and registration thru web for employer and employees.
