Subic Bay Freeport – Subic EnerZone Corporation in Partnership with Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. ( KCFI), turned over 1 unit Knowledge Channel Television (TV), Portable Media Library & School Supplies to Special Education for the Gifted (SPED-G) in Kalayaan Heights, Subic Bay Freeport Zone yesterday Sept 29, 2022.
Present on the event are the Schools Division Superintendent ( SDS) of Olongapo City, Ms. Leilanie Samson Cunanan, KCFI Resource Mobilization Manager ,Ms. Liberty S. Reyes, Principal of the SPED-G, Ms. Filomena Pascual , Reputation Enhancement Supervisor of Subic Enerzone Mr Jeff Figuerrez and the AVP and General Manager of Subic EnerZone, Engr. Warell Kern Sario. Joining also from Subic Enerzone are OSSHED Department represented by Mr. Orliemar Reyes and Mr. Ricky Morales.
The donation consists of 43″ Smart TV containing more than 1,500 curriculum-based video lessons, a 1 (one) TB Hard drive storage portable media library containing more than 1,500 curriculum- based video .
These videos and other informative presentations are MLEC- alligned and approved by Department of Education.
School supplies were also given during the turnover. The User Acceptance Trainings to the teachers follows after the turnover program.
Since 1999, the Knowledge Channel Foundation has engaged public schools from Batanes to Tawi-Tawi in providing technological access, educational videos and games, and teachers training.
