Tarlac Agri U employees receive leadership training through CHED program

TARLAC CITY – The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) employees joined the leadership training conducted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), titled “Transformational Leadership Training for Tarlac Agricultural University Employees” program to boost their management and leadership skills. 

The two-day program focused on enhancing leadership skills necessary for driving innovation, collaboration, and institutional growth. 

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Manila Corporation Co-Founder and Lead Consultant Emmanuel Silan led the training, where he shared his expertise on Self-Awareness, Transformative NLP, Leadership Essential, and NLP and EQ at Work.

Silan also emphasized the importance of these components to effective leadership in higher education.

Moreover, TAU President Silverio Ramon Salunson commended CHED for their continuous support in advancing higher education and empowering academic leaders. 

“My sincerest gratitude to CHED and Commissioner [Desiderio Apag III] for their continuous support to TAU, this activity contributes to a great foundation in enhancing transparency and good governance within the higher education sector,” he said. 

TAU Chief Administrative Officer for Administration Yolanda Juan also shared her insights on the importance of the training.

“This leadership training provides a fresh perspective, as the core of learning is self-awareness and understanding oneself, along with the different types of personality behaviors of individuals necessary in crafting a development program that is inclusive,” she stated.

Employees present during the training pledged their commitment to apply the knowledge and skills they gained to better serve stakeholders and to support the university’s vision.
