TARLAC CITY – Gov. Susan Yap recently led the granting of educational assistance to at least 744 students coming from different schools in the province.

Lamorena and Dennis Norman Go was held at the Tarlac Provincial Hospital covered court.
The students received financial assistance amounting to P3,000 to P5,000 each depending on their general academic averages. A total amount of P3,434,000 million was released by the provincial
government.
Yap said that she felt proud and touched by the testimonies of the students.
“I felt proud and touched by the testimonies of some graduate students who are now board passers of their various fields, Glad to be part of attaining their dreams. Study well dear students,” she said adding that her administration’s goal is to reach 2,000 students that will benefit from the educational assistance.
According to Pearla Duldulao, the scholarship overseer, of the total number of students that benefited from the latest educational assistance, 196 are first year students, 315 are on their second year, 57 on their third year, 132 on their fourth year and 27 on their fifth year.
Tarlac City has the most number of beneficiaries at 234.
“Education is one of my priorities as I believe in the capabilities of each Tarlaqueño,” Yap concluded.
