MEXICO, Pampanga – In preparation for a potential surge of patients following recent flooding in the province, the Pampanga provincial government is converting a building within the Mexico Isolation Facility into a Temporary Field Hospital—an extension of the San Luis District Hospital.
Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda personally inspected the site to ensure its readiness, emphasizing the importance of compassionate and accessible healthcare services for flood-affected residents.

The facility is expected to accommodate more than 20 patients and will include critical medical services such as:
Emergency Room
Outpatient Services
Laboratory
Pharmacy
Urgent CARE Consumers Cooperative

The hospital is set to open this Sunday, aiming to provide immediate care and ease congestion in nearby hospitals.
Joining the inspection were Provincial Health Officer Dr. Daax Tidula, PDRRMO Head Janica Yambao, and PSWDO Head Fe Manarang.

The initiative is part of Pampanga’s broader disaster response strategy, focused on health resilience in the wake of natural calamities.
