Philip Gutierrez and business partner Chef Ariel Gutierrez of Irobeshi (Japanese barbaric term for I Love Sushi) have invited the lifestyle writers of Pampanga to try their best selling ramen, maki and sushi variants.

His culinary experience as a chef in a 7-star hotel in Dubai motivated him to go back in the Philippines and put up his own ramen and sushi bar.

Ramen, to not be confused with Korean Ramyun, is Japan’s famous noodle soup served with meat, fish-based broth and nori or dried seaweed.

Now what to order when at Irobeshi? Here are great picks on their menu.

Classic Cream Tonkotsu: Served with Pork Chashu, Ajitamago, Wakame Negi, Fried Garlic, Black Oil Garlic, and original Tonkotsu Broth.

Western Ramen: Served with Pork Chashu, Ajitamago, Wakame Negi, Special Green Sauce,  Fresh Parsley, Aunori, Peanut, Olive, Olive Oil, and original Tonkotsu Broth.

Red Mabu Ramen: Served with Pork Chashu, Ajitamago, Wakame Negi, Special Mabu Sauce, Kick of Spicy Mixed Vegetables, and original Tonkotsu Broth.

Tokyo Miso Ramen: Served with Pork Chashu, Ajitamago, Marinated Ground Pork, Whole Corn, Negi and original Tonkotsu Broth.
