SANTA RITA, Pampanga – The Society of Thomasian Doctors Women’s Club, led by medical students Irra Angela Pineda and Victoria Tiqui, visited flood-stricken communities in this Pampanga town on August 1 to deliver much-needed aid.
Several barangays received relief packs containing canned goods, coffee, noodles, and a monetary donation turned over directly to the local government unit (LGU), part of the group’s continued outreach to communities severely affected by recent torrential rains.

In a statement, the group shared their reason for reaching out:
“As a group of Thomasian doctors, we want to reach not just the nearby areas but also other communities in need. We believe that every act of help—no matter how small—makes a meaningful impact.”
The Santa Rita LGU expressed its gratitude to the organization, commending their initiative and compassion in standing with the Ritenian community during this time of recovery.
