“Nagbabalilk and TAGISAN NG MGA TIGASIN!” by Northern Cement Corporation and Trisports Solutions, Inc. With last year’s positive aftermath, festivities will be back to the heart, the soul and the face of Pangasinan, in Lingayen. Fully supported by their Provincial Government, headed by Gov. Amado “Pogi” Espino III, the race is anticipated to be bigger and better.
The race is anticipated to be bigger than ever, on its 4th year and with the arrival of TRAP (Triathlon Association of the Philippines) sanctioning TIGASIN TRIATHLON, athletes can expect a topnotch race quality in terms of the overall security plan, transition area designs, rules enforcements by ITU (International Triathlon Union) Certified officials and other event plans for a safe and fair race. Different athletes whether newbie, experiences and elites are already set in competing for this high stakes event. The TIGASIN TRIATHLON offers one of the biggest cash prize in local multisport history. More than Php500, 000 will be awarded to the winners of the age group and open categories which will make the race a lot interesting.
The race weekend will start on May 12, 2018 with the Open Water swim challenge that will be held on the beachfront of Capitol Beach Resort followed by the Tigasin Triathlon on the following day.
