Seminar on Parenting Strategies for Children with Disabilities Held in Pampanga Pampanga, Philippines – On June 29, 2024, Transitioning Kids Therapy Center successfully hosted a seminar titled “Effective Parenting Strategies for Children with Disabilities.” The event, held from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, attracted parents of children with Autism, ADHD, and developmental delays.
Conducted by OT Cesar, the seminar covered essential topics such as core principles of occupational therapy, practical home-based parenting strategies, and methods to foster positive parent-child relationships.
Due to limited slots, participants were required to pre-register by visiting the therapy center and speaking with the clinic secretary, Miss Pat. The seminar was open to all parents, including those whose children are not currently enrolled at the center.
This initiative emphasized the importance of parental involvement in the developmental progress of children with disabilities, highlighting how therapeutic practices can be effectively extended into the home environment.
