TMC, DOT partner to promote medical tourism

The Medical City (TMC) and the Department of Tourism (DOT) have launched a partnership to position the Philippines as a leading destination for health and wellness. The collaboration was formalized with a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed at Grand Hyatt Manila.

Since 2008, TMC has been a DOT-accredited hospital, serving 20,000 international patients annually. The hospital offers advanced medical technology and personalized care, with specialized services for international patients, including dedicated Korean and Japanese helpdesks.

The partnership also introduced the ‘Discover Your Wellness’ series, part of the DOT’s ‘Love the Philippines’ campaign, highlighting the country’s healthcare and tourist attractions. This initiative aims to make the Philippines a top choice for medical tourists.
