A trike driver on Monday was arrested after he yielded guns and several bullets at his house in Nueva Ecija.
In a report to PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Nueva Ecija police commander Lt. Col. Jay Dimaandal identified the suspect as Benjamin Parada Tomas, 63, a tricycle driver, of Purok 4, Brgy. Sta Maria, Licab, Nueva Ecija.
Dimaandal said joint elements of 303rd MC, RMFB3 together with CIDG PFU-NE, RSOG3, PIT-NE, PIU NEPPO, 1st PMFC NEPPO, RIU3 and the Licab police implemented a search warrant issued by RTC Branch 33 of Guimba, Nueva Ecija for violation of RA 10591 against Tomas and confiscated a loaded . 45 pistol, a magazine for . 45 gun, a .60 mm ball, several cartridges and a box of bullets for a .9 mm gun.
The suspect will be charged with violation of RA 10591.
