CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – ACT-CIS Partylist Representative Erwin Tulfo lauded 2,628 Nanay Community Workers (NCW) during a gathering at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center, describing their dedication as “public service with a heart.”
Tulfo emphasized the critical role mothers play not only in their households but also in their communities and provinces, praising their selfless service. He also commended Pampanga Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda for her leadership and support for the NCW volunteers.
To recognize their sacrifices, Tulfo facilitated the distribution of P3,000 financial assistance for each worker through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). This was supplemented by an additional P2,000 per person from Tulfo’s allocated funds in the DSWD.
Tulfo also handed out livelihood grants, ranging from P135,000 to P150,000, to 10 cooperatives from the towns of Lubao, Sasmuan, and Porac to support rice-related businesses.
The congressman assured Pampanga residents that he would return to the province soon to provide more medical and livelihood assistance, as part of his commitment to uplifting local communities.
