The Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) arrested two individuals who stole a motorcycle at Sitio Abacan, Barangay Malabanias, Angeles City on Monday.
PCol Joyce Patrick Sangalang, ACPO City Director, identified the two as Joel Mateo, 43 years old, of 175 Estrella St., Brgy Atlag, Malolos, Bulacan and Felix Navarro, 36 years old, of 512 Mabolo, Malolos, Bulacan. The two also yielded 5 grams of shabu with street value of P34,000.
Both Mateo and Navarro were arrested at Sitio Abacan, Brgy Malabanias.
Sangalang said at around 6:50pm on Monday, the victim identified as Crizel Gamboa, of 6th St., Sitio Abacan, Brgy Malabanias, Angeles City reported to Police Station 4 that her motorcycle was stolen by unidentified suspects wearing black long sleeves and black caps.
The suspects darted to Barangay Malabanias proper.
Elements of Police Station 4 under the direct supervision of PMaj. Aris Gonzales, immediately coordinated a flash alarm with the ACPO Tactical Operations Center and Highway Patrol Group Pampanga who conducted a dragnet operation.
At 8:50 in the evening, the suspects were caught while in the act of loading the stolen motorcycle in a Mitsubishi Expander with conduction sticker number B7D76 at Mayon St., Brgy. Malabanias, Angeles City.
Also confiscated from the suspects were another two units of scooters with no plate numbers and OR/CRs.
A verification was made with the LTO on the status of the scooters. A complainant identified as Andrew John Magalona Aguirre, of B4 185 Ipil Ipil St. Bunsaran, 1-Pandi, Bulacan along with personnel of Pandi, Bulacan Municipal Police Station coordinated with Police Station 4 regarding a motornapping incident that transpired last October 25, 2020 in Pandi, Bulacan.
Aguirre positively identified one of the confiscated motorcycles as his stolen motorcycle, a white 2019 Mio 125 BB36 Yamaha, with engine no. E3R2E-2476106 and chassis no. PA0SE9810K0421747.
Charges are now being readied against the suspects.
