Former President and Pampanga Second District Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo also accompanied the envoy.

Carlson’s visit focused on key areas of cooperation, including history, culture, and economic investments. Discussions centered on expanding collaborations that could boost Clark’s role in the Luzon Economic Corridor, a critical zone for trade and development. Officials highlighted the growing presence of U.S. businesses and their contributions to local industries.

The visit underscored the enduring partnership between the Philippines and the United States, with Clark emerging as a strategic hub for innovation and commerce. With infrastructure upgrades and investor-friendly policies, the government aims to position it as a premier economic zone. The meeting also touched on potential collaborations in sustainable energy, technology, and education.

As the Philippines deepens its economic ties with global partners, Clark remains a focal point for investment-driven development. Carlson’s visit signals continued diplomatic and economic engagement, with both nations looking ahead to stronger cooperation in key sectors.
