GENERAL MAMERTO NATIVIDAD, Nueva Ecija — Governor Czarina Umali cited Monday the importance of collaborative efforts of national government agencies and local government units (LGUs) to better serve the people.
In her message during the inauguration of completed infrastructure projects in General Mamerto Natividad town, Umali said the Duterte administration must be a pattern to LGUs in initiating programs and services.
“In line with the vision of the current administration, we will continuously strive to bring relevant and positives changes to the community so that people will feel the progress and development programs that the government is trying to implement,” the Governor emphasized.
Four local government infrastructure projects in the municipality were inaugurated namely the Php4.24 million three-storey Permanent Evacuation Center, Php9 million Municipal Plaza Gymnasiums I and II, Php500,000 Samuel E. Gadia Hall, and Php1.5 million Simeon V. Cruz Hall.
“These facilities will not only improve the services that the local government strives for but the realization of dreams and vision through the essence of cooperation, partnership, extensive help and assistance from different government agencies,” Umali said.
The Governor stressed that all the efforts and initiatives that they are doing under the leadership of the President are dedicated to strengthen LGUs so that they can provide quality and relevant programs and services.
“We will continue to support not just the municipal government of General Natividad but also all the municipalities (and cities in Nueva Ecija) in realizing and implementing the same vision and desire to offer efficient, timely and quality public service that the people deserve,” she said.
