UNIQLO, SM Foundation donate face masks to LGU frontliners

In line with its commitment to be of service to the Filipino public, its hospitals, and its government during the coronavirus pandemic, SM Foundation Inc. together with Japanese clothing company Uniqlo, recently donated its newest AIRism Face Masks to front liners of Jose B. Lingad Hospital Memorial Regional Hospital, the local government units of City of San Fernando, Municipality of Mexico and Philippine National Police Region 3.

Now that wearing a Face Mask is part of our everyday, Uniqlo developed an AIRism Face Mask that provides protective performance while also being comfortable and washable. It has triple layer structure that enhances performance, wicks away moisture, built-in and washable filter with mesh fabric that blocks 90% of UV rays.

Through SM Foundation and SM City Pampanga, Uniqlo Philippines distributes 6000 pieces AIRism Face Masks to front liners. Heading the distribution of the Unqilo AIRism Face Masks donations are North Luzon 4 Operations Manager Andrea Madlangbayan, SM City Pampanga Mall Manager Aaron Montenegro and Assistant Mall Manager Raquel Chua.

Since the onset of the outbreak, Uniqlo Philippines initiative has been working with its long-standing foundations, charitable partners, government agencies, and other organization to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
