“Active Case Finding aims to screen patients for TB. It also finds a way to cater other health problems that maybe encountered incidentally,” he said.

TB program, in collaboration with other health programs, gives way to exercise Patient-Centered Approach and give a chance to implement TB Preventive Treatment.

“Psychologically, people benefit from the fact that they are not forgotten even during this pandemic. Any TB case finding effort leads the way to finding missing TB cases, enrolment to and completion of treatment addressing all aspects of the disease, and dawns the day when TB ends,” he furthered.
